"Attendees to [title] will see not only wacky, but hysterically funny from Lauren, who is a virtual one-woman sitcom. Listening to her perform the "Monkeys and Playbills" song, one can easily imagine a re-casting of Seinfeld with her playing all the parts." —Tucson Lifestyle Magazine

"The women of the cast are nothing short of hilarious. Lauren Lebowitz, who plays the rowdy and outrageous Susan, is hard to forget with her smart and perfectly timed interjections..." —Arizona Daily Wildcat

"If you've never heard her belt out a tune, you're in for a treat. Her voice is as powerful as it is gorgeous. " —Dowtownphoenix.com

As a young girl, Lauren would sit outside the door of her sister's voice lessons and dream of the day that it would be her turn to learn how to sing. Back at the Lebowitz house, the shyest girl on the block could be heard in her bedroom belting out the tunes from ANNIE and LES MISERABLES. After begging for voice lessons and landing the title role of Annie at her local day camp, Lauren's fate was sealed. She was given a choice to continue her tennis lessons or take voice lessons. Choosing very wisely, she has never looked back.

Lauren attended the University of Michigan and then the Royal Academy of Music in London. Studying under acclaimed professionals including Mary Hammond and Matt Ryan, she graduated from the Royal Academy of Music's Post Graduate Musical Theatre program with the highest distinction. Soon after, she landed the role of Rusty in the National Tour of FOOTLOOSE and then joined the National Tour of GODSPELL under the direction of Scott Schwartz, musical direction of Tony award winner Alex Lacamoire and choreography of Tony award winner Christopher Gatelli. (She can be heard on the cast recording.)

Lauren toured with the USO, entertaining our troops with performances at Bob Hope's 100th birthday aboard the USS Intrepid, NBC's The Today Show, MSNBC, CBS and at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. An ambassador of goodwill, she also toured and performed at numerous military bases and at hundreds of events throughout the Northeast including those for Mayor Bloomberg.

Lauren has continued to perform in productions, readings and workshops throughout the US. Favorite roles to date include Susan in the regional premiere of TITLE OF SHOW at the Arizona Theatre Company and Rosa in the pre-Broadway world premiere of WALLENBERG at the White Plains Performing Arts Center, a role she created since the show's inception. Lauren also had the honor of being in the New York City premiere of YEAST NATION, the newest project by the creators of URINETOWN, Mark Hollman and Greg Kotis. She is currently working on her own show, MR. WEINERT'S ASSIGNMENT.

A New Jersey native, Lauren resides in New York City.
